I'm just wondering if there's any place to get some basic knowledge about the syntax of VC++.
I mean, the tutorials really teach the basics of what you'd already know after using DBPro. But it doesnt explain about header files, and their relation to the .cpp files, or what "#Pragma once" at the top of the headers means, or what "enum" does, or a variety of other things. so where could i find some tutorials on this? Or at least a simpler example program, preferrably with a better explanation than dark invaders.

Really, Google is your best friend. There are literally hundreds of C++ tutorials out there that demand little to no prior experience.

Hey,

have a look here: http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/

Very good tutorials in my opinion. For some more advanced topics/questions: http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lite/

Hope it helps.
