I will add textures with details, but the details that I have got now will stay . Because the gun models are about 500-600 polygons each. FPSC can handle that.

Thanks Mate

Like I said: FPSC can handle guns that re up to 2000 Polys. And Sketchup is very good program to make guns.

It is around 700 polys. Now for sure. LOL XD

And FPSC can handle 2000.

With a normal Card, the framerate would be very good.

Have you tried converting those to directx? I can almost be certain that they would be well over 2000 poly's. Fpsc uses directx does'nt it?
they are nice but they are not converted yet. try converting them, then look a the poly count.

You have too many non 4 sided faces, which is why your model doesn't have that high of a poly count.

Or you should make it so that your model consists of quads and tris? Otherwise it won't work properly in FPSC or in most engines.

Polygon is another word for face, face being for adjacent edges connected together.
We categorize polygons by how many sides they have, the ones with three sides we call triangles, or tries, seeing as they're triangle shaped.
The four sided ones we call quads, which are the ones that people like to tell you to use the most, and everything with more than four sides we call N-Gons, where N is a variable for the number of sides the face has. Everything N-Gon is BAD in general. Although there are always engines that can handle N-Gons most probably don't.
And if you ever get a modeling job and your boss gives you a assignment it's most likely that he'll tell you to use only quads or only tris.

There you go.

And, I know Source can handle them. But Source sucks. BSP maps suck.

Who on earth told you that? Triangles are polygons with 3 sides. Geez, you'd think a programmer/3D modeler would know 1st grade geometry.

Well who on "warth" told you that. All triangles are polygons but not all polygons are triangles. The correct would have been quads. So you are the one at fault here, don't teach something you don't understand.

Yep, I know, that's why I said "Triangles are polygons with 3 sides."

Quote: "The correct would have been quads."

Umm, sorry, quads are not polygons with 3 sides, if that's what you meant. Otherwise I misunderstood you, but quad stands for "quadrilateral", which is a polygon with 4 sides, not 3.

That's what I meant, quads have 4, tris have 3, and polies are either.
