I've noticed that P5B2 fixes the VAL statement where floating-point strings are converting to a floating-point value (which is good). I know it not my plug-in as mines VALF...

Looks like I wont be needed the aforementioned command anymore...

Any why is it so much more fun bug-testing other peoples code, and not your own !?

well... if you feel that way - i've got some lovely code that could do with a once over
hehee

i noticed afew things were fixxed.
the set cursor & print with str$( ) are now also fixxed, you get the full screen rather than the projection set to 640x320

Don't worry Toady, I used ValF extensively before the bug was fixed. As for bug-testing, its less fun on your own code because you have to fix it.

for some reason its simpler to spot a mistake in someone elses code rather than your own...

i'm not sure why this is, but if i made a spelling mistake, and someone else did in the same place for the same code.
bet you i'll see thier mistake right away, but my code i'd go over about 5times before i notice.

quirky - but oddly true

Nice to know VALF was of use. Are you going to replace all VALF's with VAL's; or are you going to keep them ?
