Did anybody know if the contents of this manual are usefull for programming with DarkGDK.NET? :-|

Is it usefull to learn how to make a game? :-|

i have both books. they won't teach you how to make a game even with DBPro. although the commands of .NET version are OOP. the books do contain usefull details/explanations of what a command is doing. which for me, having very little Darkbasic knowledge, is a great help when using the DarkGDK.NET version.

if you have access to the Hands On Darkbasic Pro sample pdfs. i'd grab them and judge for yourself.

I look to them for a better understanding of the graphics commands. You'll have to make adjustments because we don't use object, or sprite numbers in DarkGDK.Net, but they're still pretty helpful.
