Wow...what a letdown compared to what FPS Creator came to be.

And what is that Rescue suited woman from Scifi models of FPSC doing with dual Uzis..? There is no dual wielding for enemys in fpsc, not even in Ply's mod... It has dual wielding for player, but not for characters...

And importing maps to Quake... Why they didn't do THAT? It would be so cool to make own Quake levels so easy...

Actually, yeah, just about.

Except for the stun ability, the "mass library of shaders", AI dual wielding, the collision detection (which sucks in both x9 and x10), and CO-OP.

Wow, if I saw this newsletter before x9 was released and spent $50+ on it and saw what a major let-down it was (compared to the letter, FPSC is actually more compelling then some of you take it for) I would trash the disc. But, seeing this now 2 or so years after buying it, I think, wow, so this is what is could have been...

And in reality, the FPSCx9 we have is just as amazing. Think about it, what other program do you know that allows a 3 year old to make a decent FPS game within minutes? And an expert to make a commercial map by himself within months. What I'm prodding at is that our FPSC is not god-like, but it is freakin amazing in it's simplicity and quite frankly it's power.
