Hello.

I've been making 3d games with other programs or two years, and was looking for a more powerful way to do it. My previous game maker could only support about 10 models at a time without lag. I an thinking about purchasing, "The 3D Game Maker," but after seeing videos - yea, it looks easy, but not very customizable. I would like to insert my own code in instances. Also, is good multilayer functions available?

Don't get T3DGM if you want something serious, it's meant for <10 year olds. Close to no customization at all. I'd consider trying DBP.

Definitely dont go for T3DGM. Spend the month or two learning the basics of DBP, download the trial to experiment with what you've learnt, then buy it and over the next year if you're serious about it you'll gain the skills necessary to make a decent game. DBP honestly isn't hard to learn at all.
