You are right:

Rob K, how do you get to 104*105 being 65520 vertices. I thought each tile is 4 vertices which when a matrix was 128*128=16384 tiles * 4= 65536 vertices.
Am I missing something? Is it a bug do you think.
Not that it really matters as 100*100 matrices are more than ample and people should be stitching together smaller matrices if they want huge matrices or some clever wrapping and matrix updating.
