Which model packs should I buy? By that I mean, which model packs do people find to be most useful and most frequently used? Which ones are useful in a variety of situations?

If A=B and B=C, are people still stupid?

This has been answered a TON of times...but if you insist...

I find that Model Pack 2 and 3 are probably the most necessary. There's a huge selection of stuff in them, and it's really a great deal. Any other packs are really up to you.

Model Pack 3 is essential for warehouse and industrial type environments. Packs 9 and 10 are the best for weapons from what I've heard.....

MP2 is good for a zombie game, or another kind of modern day game...

I started out with model packs 2 and 3 and now I own all of them except for three packs. Model pack 1 was the third pack I purchased.

Here's some info for a modern-day game:

MPs 1, 2, 3, 4, (5, 6, or 9+10 for weapons), 16

1: Has some nice items, like a microwave, pot, couch; commando models in here also
2: Has more office-type furniture, like vending machines, toilet stalls, toilets, etc.; zombies
3: Good for virtually any environment; recommended
4: Characters, what more can I say? Policemen, medics, doctors, etc.
5: Weapons by JFletcher; AK47, MP5, M16/M203, M249, FAMAS, P90, etc.
6: Mostly German-made weapons: Glock, MP5K, G3, HK21e, etc.
9+10: Has a lotta nice weapons for any game: AK, RPK, Glock, 1911, shotguns, MP5, grenades, etc.
16: I don't have this yet, but it fits into any environment. Hospital equipment, construction stuff, and a few other nooks and crannies like a radiator

The first pack I got was actually the animated sprite pack. This I found has been very useful and I highly recommend it. It certainly beats those tacky stock decals that come with FPSC.

I agree with coffeegrunt, Model Pack 3 is essential for warehouses, factories and general industrial stuff. I found that very useful.

I guess it depends on what game you're making. For me, I've yet to want to make a fantasy game, but if I did, I know there are model packs that would help me do that.
