after seeing Slayer93s post i remembered about my katana model ,i didnt want to hijack his post so i thought i would show it here .

its a copy of my personal katana (i had it hand made for me in japan about 10 years ago ,its a great example of japanese craftsmanship )but my model does not do it justice

Cool, the texture on that is much better than mine. Although I can't believe how many people have a katana around here.

Looks awesome, especially the texture! However that plate above the handle, is the underside of that an n-gon or is it just the way it rendered?

i think you mean the tsuba (hand guard)
