One cool thing with Mnemonix's chatroom is that it is actually an IRC room, thus people can use any IRC client or the web to access the same channel as everyone else (its not just a web-only room that isn't connected to anything else). I like it, despite the unregistered messages which appear every time you send a message. JPilot is quite a popular and reputable name, so you shouldn't worry about accepting the warning/security message that appears when you try to load it.

just to put this topic back on the top and point out that the chat is very active and already has several regulars so drop by if you need any help or if you want to chat to some good programmers. Address is at the top of this topic

will you be paying the 50 dollars needed for a full registration or JPilot, or finding a free IRC web-client? I remember trying to find a free java based irc client before, with no luck, maybe there is a new one out somewhere?

(P.S., the IRC server is VERY slow)

Rich is setting this up on the new site with a licensed version of JPilot.
