Hi (sorry for my bad inglish), i prepare a litle game in 3D, like old Archos Chess Engine.. the prototipe work fine (I need add more AI) you can add tour own models, edit any level and part of the game.. the entire game is a Big Template you can change all media an d add moore,
the play sistem:
a.- 1. Choose 3 cards (your monsters)
a.- 2. Pc Choose 3 Cards

Now you can play Like a Chess. Try to convert all table, any model mov in diferent mode or distance (you can change that)
When 2 piezes are in one block, the fight start and only the winner can use this block..
here are somes images they are still in progress, i not finish the design, background and other important elements, i need you comments...
here are the basis 2d - (in game i use png formats)

Engine..?? only i use darkbasic.. i use my level editor(writed in DBP) and my Battle chess engine (writed in DBP - i upload to my site when i finish AI)

That red thing in the first picture looks a LOT like Angelus from Drakengard, just so you know. I'm not sure if that's intended or just a coincidence?

It is very difficult to create something new, especially when you design popular models like dragons. I believe that everybody sometimes drew a dragoon. You can see the original model in my site and if you need download them and see if this is intentional or not.. from here.. DRAKON

Oh no, I don't doubt that you created it, just noting the similarities. I'm sure lots of dragons look similar, for a mythical beasty there seems to be a lot of repetition in design.

you modeled, textured an animated pleeeease..(in lowpoly) )
for this engine need this animations in only one model..

Thanks.. is not so awesome.. the editor are easy to write.. the engines are more dificult.. the original editor is writed in Dark Basic Clasics.. i change to Dark Basic Pro for use Png formats and more extensons.. but DBC RULES !!! Old is better.

Poly count?? under 2000..
download this model for reference.. in the xxx.lev file you can manage the model (streng, attack range etc..) nyou can edited in notepad or the 3d editor

hmm just playing around with the leg motions, and i came to this,
since this is the first time ive used bones am pretty surprised how easy it is, quite entuative

ill play it some more and post later,

if you want ill email it so you can keep the thread tidy

ohh btw its just under 1.5k polys probably drop it to 1k

yeah, its kinda hard with the 10 frame limit but am managing so, just finished the tail animation and the hide legs, for now though ill work on it since it gets me outa stuffing the turkey lol

Don't worry.. the engine manage this (xxx.lev file have this information example: stand 0 to 200 run 200 to 5000 / etc..) .. you can make animations in infinity frames..

This is awesome neodelito! I love it! If you still want to add those amazing effects later i suggest finishing this game on dark basic and port it to irrlicht Irrlicht is really fast engine. You must know c/cpp language tho

Btw can you share the glow shader? It looks cool and reminds me of FF.

Also i love your site because you share your models =) I have made many tests using some of them.

Hi roxas.. the glow effx you can made paste png sprites in random limbs (png sprites must be transparent pre made spots)
