Dark GDK / Bumpmapping limbs????

I can add different shaders to my walls like relief mapping, but i just can't add bump mapping (its much more important than the other shaders to get to work!). I try the "dbSetBumpMappingOn()" and use the shader for bump mapping, but all it does is a whole object, not a limb. Any help???

Well, you could find a proper .fx shader file, load (and setup if any!) with 'dbLoadEffect' and then use 'dbSetLimbEffect' to apply it to that limb

You can find .fx files and the basic code in the DBPro forums, like:

I saw posted not long ago the bump.fx file that comes with FPSC, but I cannot find it, anyway the FPSC demo version includes it.

It makes the limb disappear. The FPSC bump shader is called Bumpent.fx, but I can't get it because the trial is not on the website !!! !!!! !!! !!

I recommend then to try a simpler shader onto a whole object.
Once you got it working (it doesn't 'disappear') try it with the single limb.
Go step by step. If something disappears, then usually the shader is not properly setup.
