Don't feel the need to create two threads on the same subject...

Ok, but this is the official Mr. Hankey thread now.
Please, don't make another thread showing us the creature from the bogs.

Have you tried Paint.NET yet?

Please don't create a new thread for each texture. Get Paint.NET, I use it and I love it.

If life was a game, god would be the admin.
And chuck norris would be the moderator.

Have you looked at the tutorials at their forum yet?
You should check them out, because you can learn alot of cool effects from them.
When you have the program open, select tutorials from the Help menu.

Dude, you make it hard for someone to be positive about the changes if they are not very noticable.
I mean, the second one looks a lot like the first one. (I can't tell the difference)

Try changing his clothes or something, so he is not all one color.
Use the old stock texture (I hope you made/kept a copy of the original) as a guideline for where the clothes and stuff go.
If you use the "magic wand" tool and layers, you can easily texture only certain portions of the thing.
Then you can use the same cut out for unlimited different layers to fill it back in.

You could even do a cut out of the original file for just the skin, and that would leave the original clothes if you wanted until you made your own.

The point to this tip is...
The original texture can be divided into groups using the magic wand tool, so the skins and clothes can be sparated into different layers.
Then, each group can be redone and you can mix and match the layers to rebuild countless combinations.

That's an excuse? You should always give it your all. I wouldn't go play baseball and say "I'm new to this, I don't really feel like swinging."
