I assume you mean GDK not GDK.NET
switch to release, instead of debug. Now browse to your project folder in explorer, find your release folder, and the exe is in there, move all media, like textures models etc and also dlls to that folder or a new folder with the exe in, and it should work. if you want to run it on another computer, include the DirectX redist package.

What and where is this, is it the include or the lib or developer runtime or something completely different.
Thanks.

Sorry, i didn't expect you to know what it was, but i guessed you'd either google it or someone else would help. Anyway, it is a package that has DirectX to make sure the version is correct etc.

O.K, sorry for hijacking this thread but I have had the same problem.
Ive downloaded the package from the microsoft site but still im not sure what it is.
What part do I include in my project, or do I just tell my friend to run the dxsetup.exe(does this install directX for him).
Thanks.

Yes, it's a package containing the latest DirectX which is allowed to be redistributed. If they happen to NOT have the needed DirectX version to run your game, by including the package you have provided them a way to get it without going through the MS website to get it.

Maybe you should use some installer builder (e.g. AdvancedInstaller http://www.advancedinstaller.com/download.html)

it can runs the directx redist installer automatically if it not detects the right directx in the other system (but you still to include the directx redist installer to your package)

hope it helps
