This is a government mailbox by our mail delivery system called 'De Post' which is 'The mail' if you translate it. You find a couple of these in every city in Belgium.

I added an occlusion map, you should clearly see the soft shadowing on the back of the mailbox.

My teacher once showed a half-life 2 model in 3ds max and it was on it's side, he said you have to put your model on its side for it to work in a game engine so it might be like this... dunno, you'll see Scaling might be an issue as well.. :p
Just let me know what needs to be done, first time I exported something to FPSC and I don't have FPSC installed anymore so I can't check...

Got time to try it out in FPSC then?
I scaled it to 3ds max 'real' standards and it should be around a metre and half in height... But I doubt FPSC uses the same scaling.
I'll see if I can upload someone else's model and scale it accordingly.

...I don't have FPSC installed on this computer.

Perhaps someone else can give you immediate feedback on FPSC functionality.

Using an existing FPSC model as a scale template seems a very good approach...

Erhm don't tell me that ground plan is the full plan of FPSC? xD
Then yeah.. a bit too big :p

I uploaded it again, I forgot if I scaled that other one...
I scaled this one down to the point where I originally would've but as I'm not sure if I already did it or not this could mean nothing has changed...
Thanks for helping!

So here it is:

Tell you what, find the floor_a.x mesh under Files > Meshbank > Common, and import it into Max, (you may need to get a .X import Plugin)...

Then use that as a template, it's exactly one segment, or one grid space, in size...

Well that was my issue... can't find a .x import plugin, I actually googled for 'converter' so maybe that's the issue
I'll look into it, although I don't have FPSC installed anymore though...

@ henry ham,

Thanks man So that height, is that the height of a room?
Anyway, I think I'll install FPSC on my desktop and scale it right and then import it back to that segment block of yours for future use
It's just hard to know how big a segment is in FPSC, hard to estimate how much you can fit in one segment...

Thanks for the help!

easy and effective way to get scale into you models in max,
load the biped file from the tgc downloads and use it as a scale
against your models. then just delete it when done,
henrys size chart is great for segments,

@pdidy
Could you be more specific?
I don't understand what you're trying to explain :p
Get that .BIP file from where? And which file?
