Microsoft stated that in Windows 7 there will be a new DX, called DirectX 11. As they stated, this will unite DX9, DX10 and 10.1. They also stated, that in Windows 7 DX10 applications WILL run on a DX9 card.

So, fellow X9 owners, what do you think about this?

Let me make this 100% clear to you i understand you are newish but X10 does not 100% work on X9 hardware that has been told to you all here tonnes of times and people around here are getting sick of telling noobs that please get it into your heads X10 made for vista only stays vista only.

Mods lock this please

Please also note that in windows 7 there will be DirectX11 but it will not be anything like X9 and X9 hardware will be extinct by then

Note cant edit posts so needed to make new one instead.

man seriously good find! finaly a windows after vista worth getting.all our problems will be solved,x9 and x10 working on dx9 graphics,just awesome
