Hey,

So I am able to load .x files just fine, however I'm getting some really weird looking models. What are you guys using to convert files to .x? I have been using Ultimate Unwrap3D to do my dirty work, but obviously I need something else.

So, here is what I'm getting when I convert a 3ds file to .x and load object into DBPro. If I try to load the object as a 3DS I get nothing. Then as an X file I get this....

the number at the bottom is 0, and it's what's returned from the Object Size() command. I'm totally lost. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Does anyone have an X file I can use to see if it's my computer doing this, or if I'm just exporting and converting wrong???

Thanks

Wow, nevermind... just looked at the file that Ultimate Unwrap3D exports as a .x file. It's actual DirectX code for the 3D object! It's not a compiled 3d object. It's actually kinda neat, not useful with DBPro at all, but hella-cool none the less. Oh, and thanks for all the helpful replies!!!
