i got fps creator by cd as a gift for christmas. i'm not sure if the download is available from this site like the leadwerks engine but i would like to know if i could provide some form of product verification like my cd code or something so that i could access this program from the internet if i were to ever lose the cd.

it should be in side your order history if your order email is the same has your accounts email. If not then if it was paid via paypal you can submit the order number to the billing service and they will add it to your order history.

I don't know if they still do it but I received an email with FTP info to download an installer or fpsc

It just depends where it was purchased. If from TGC, then they should have a record stored under the email address of the person who made the purchase. If it was bought somewhere else, like a retail store or Amazon.com, then you're on your own.

Make a copy or two of the CD, and also copy the registration code to a couple of places and store them.

write the registration code in an email and send it to your email address along with the FPSC download url, i think that would help, considering that you cant get rid of an email unless you delete it

so the email contains:

registration key for FPSC: ************ (so on and so forth)
download link for FPSC: http://www.fpscreator.com/betafiles/FPSCreatorFree.zip (i used the FPS Creator Free site.)
