Let me know what you think and give me some advice on how to make it better. Forget the terrain, I haven't gotten to it yet, I'm interested in the water.

That's pretty good, but I'd suggest lightening it up unless you intend to darken the terrain to match.

Are you using Blender?

Yeah, I made this in Blender, going to be part of a cutscene in a game.

I'm thinking about using this ocean too however. The setting of the game is at a terraforming plant. Technically speaking, if a terraforming plant was stationed on a planet with an iron-rich ocean, it should turn dark red.

looks sweet , maybe a simple wave texture on the water will improve it a bit.

Use a normal map for that...
