Hey guys.

Here are some new models i made! Some buildings with more to come!
These will be released for free for FPSC. All in 1 pack.

I am also thinking of creating a church model. And 1 or 2 models which will contain a small part of the inside.

Here are some screenshots and i hope you like them!

They look great, only one thing, you can really notice that the brick texture on the second building is tiled. And that maybe the texture on the side of the last building is a little bit boring. Maybe adding a bit dirt and scratches and damage and such.

Thanks all!
Alucard i know what you mean, but i am leaving the second building as it is. Cause i think i'll make it worse if i'll try to improve it.
As for the grunge on the last building, i'll look into it.
I hope it will improve the building.

Tanya thanks and happy new year!

Glad you like them!

Here is another building in W.I.P!
So the mesh could be a little incorrect or maybe some flaws.
But i'll change that! Not right now since its pretty late over here.

Anyway what do you think of the concept? Maybe some ideas.
I was thinking of a few variations for this one.
One with a stairway to the door. And another one without the stair.

Very nice models CC !

Maybe you could add some small details to the buildings , like very low poly satellite dishes , water pipes that transport water from the roof the the ground , etc...
Any small details will remove the small model repeat-ness you have there.

But overall its looks very good , good job !

CC your models are ace but that is a great pointer.

BUT then again these things could be added as seprate entities

Thanks strelok! I'll look into it. Just like Alucard said.
Now it looks to repetive.
So by changing the texture and maybe add some new parts to the mesh itself.
Will make it look more realistic. Therefore a bit better.
Which i always prefer

So i'll try to add some stuff...The problem is!
That they are already UV mapped and that the UV is quite full.
So i would have to redo the UV. Which isnt that bad.
But than i also would have to red the textures. Which actually also isnt that bad either.

If i'll do this however! I'll change the whole model itself.
Cause right now it looks to blocky! Here is a new screenie.
Of the W.I.P. And if i say so myself, it looks much better than the first few buildings.

X games you are right about the seperate entities.
But! I prefer it in a whole package. Just one single mesh.
Thanks anyway!

Sorry for the double post.
Here are 2 new screenshots!
The mesh is slightly edited.
And 1 screenshot without the wireframe.

Last one looks a lot better ! I like the edges to !

It will be cool if you add so hanging wire's with alpha , they won't cost much polys and it definitely will improve the realism a little bit.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. But i am sorry, but what do you mean with hanging wires?
Do you have any examples?

Oh by the way, i am also thinking of adding grass to the model.
I mean on the ground. Just some little parts etc.
And with alpha maps. Vines on the side of the building.

Oh yeah i see! Yeah it would be cool, but i would like to keep this building a bit cleaner.

So maybe on some other buildings.
But i think i'll add a dish satelite.

Tjaabee glad you like them!

3DSM does makes everything look cool indeed.
When i first found out how to use the skylight render.
I immediatelly used it for every upcoming model.

Oh and by the way, just a little update i started on the UV map.
Still have to make the dish.
But this is because i wont get stuck if i had to UV the whole thing when it was done.
Now i already UV'ed the walls, windows, door and the roof.
So when i'll add some parts to the mesh, i just have to UV that part.
(thats just my progress in modeling, i think its easier to do it this way then UV the whole thing when its done)

I also changed my mind about the grass and vines.
I'll make a variation, 1 with vines and grass and the other without.
Just to keep some variations in these buildings when they'll be used.

When will these be released? I'm just asking, because these look almost like real life buildings!

My blood pack will have 500 blood overlays some day! I hope...

Quality Nice work. The textures look washed out though. Make em' pop! Increase the contrast or something.
