I'm currently making a small game where you can design a region and place cities, stuff like that. It'll have a full, "smart" economy.

But it's not just for fun, I'm going to upload a .zip of the project, for C++ newbies to look at. It uses C++ classes extensively and is very modular. It might even be possible to modify it and make a whole new game.
