For all who dont know and actually care, Extreme X has been canceled due to reasons you can blame db for.(Really me,though - what i wanted to do with the graphics.............didnt work.)

I am happy to tell all of my final game before i join darknoobs, and its about 1/7 done.Its a project given to me by my schoolmates and teachers(err.....just the geeky one.). Its been altered by me, and the result - A side-scrolling beat-em up game with a rough plot.

Well, actually i'd like to share it with you guys seeing i'm not that active here. A few words before you download:

@Ashingda
After a few nights of staying up late and waking up early, i FINALLY understand the "Tile-based 2d world collision"(I'm just calling it that)you created as an experiment.even after modding it to my needs,it occured to me that i cant just up and use your code without asking. so uh.....may I? You should know that i intend to sell this one......

@the rest
Before you play, goto the options screen and set the frame skip, 4 for "slower" computers and one for "fast" computers.

Controls are simple.
"z" = punch, hold down for more moves.
downkey = charge "ki" energy(.....dont ask......)
left and right = move
space = jump
rest are explained.

set the exe's compatibilty to windows 95,Too.

remember, its still early in development.
Enjoy!

No problem with me, I can care less about any attachments to works I've made for purpose of learning.

I've updated it quite a bit since it was last uploaded, I'm going to post it in WIP soon or make it a DarkNoob project which ever. They'll both be with open source & media.

Anyone willing to use what I've written, just be my guess. Make sure you take some time to learn how it works though for your own benifit.

I'm still getting an error. Does your exe need media attached or has it attached already? That might be what's wrong.

I think I'm missing something, but in the download above, for the life of me, I couldn't find an exe.

It looks good I like the animations. The collisions still has some of the old problems I encountered previously.

@ed222

this is a bit off topic but,,,

@Code Eater:
1. Press Start

2. Go to Control Panel

3. Go to either Display or Appearance and Themes (depends on which mode you're using), and it should be very easy from there.

*You should eventually end up at the Display menu with several tabs, one of which says Themes.

You can also try right clicking your desktop and selecting properties then there should be a theme tab, the rest should be easy.
