For some reason or another I can't change the lightmap quality or lightmap size in either the setup.ini or buildsetup.ini in FPSC. I can change them to say lightmap size = 1024 and lightmap quality = 40, but when building a game, or testing one, FPSC seems to automatically overwrite these values back to the default (size = 512, quality = 10).

Anybody know why this keeps happening, or how I can stop it?

I'm running V1.13 btw

I thought they had to be changed in the "built" game. I could be wrong.

Best.

FPSC can't be open when you save the .ini file

.ini files are only read by FPSC once when it firsts opens up, any changes are therefore ignored as FPSC isn't reading them. You need to close FPSC then reopen it.

Thanks guys.

Incidentally, I also found that if you edit the .ini files while FPSC is building your level (before it starts lighmapping), it will keep your changes then.

My levels are looking a lot sexier now, thanks guys!
