here is my gun (XM8) It is attualy my first model the only thing ive done with milkshape is just play around but now i got the hang of it a little. soo yeah here it is

That is a "cardboard cutout" as people tend to like to call them, basically, they're too flat on the sides of the model, I do realize that guns are pretty flat but not that flat, try adding a bit more dimension to the model by maybe scaling up/down some of the model parts in the x axis to make it look a bit more interesting and add a few bevels. That's an easy way to make a pretty good looking mesh.

its looking pretty ok, but as Alucard said: too flat try to put more detail to it

otherwise: looking good

but are youre Vertexes connected? looks like they arent connected O.o
