okey, so i decided to take on a challange, making a as low as possible DETAILED gun in milkshape, well, now when i try to extrude it it looks BAD=P what to do?

i modelled it by putting out vertexes =P

why do you sound surprised?

The mesh is looks well like its every where thats probably the problem lol

i think ill let omeone else explain properly, but it comes down to its 'Too low poly.

-Make sure your normals are all facing outward.
-Check your smoothing groups.
-Add more vertices to the areas with tons of thin triangles side by side.

lets say like this: looks flat in flat shaded, and ive tried same mesh before - worked as it should, had to start from earlier save (done this 3 times... sort of ) and all of the sudden, it looks like this =P

btw, problem solved.. i should try restart the prog next time before postingXD still, thanks for trying to help, it is always greatly appriciated =)
