Hi guys, another (slightly overdue) progress update:
The
FPSC IP source code edit has been completed, it's around 35 lines so very easy to add and merge with the FPSC source code.
It will be publicly available on release day for people to download and integrate.
The
achievements and stat tracking features are now 100% complete and the following are tracked by FPSC IP:
> Total kills per match - Keeps a track of how many kills the player got in total.
> Highest killstreak per match - Keeps track of the highest number of kills in a row without dying.
> Total deaths per match - Keeps track of how many times the player died.
> Total suicides per match - Keeps track of how many times the player killed themself, either by falling or jumping into oblivion, etc.
> Kills per gun per match - Keeps track of how many kills the player got with each different gun.
The above can then be used to unlock achievements, examples:
'Sitting Duck' achievement is unlocked when player gets more than 20 deaths in one match.
'Massacre' achievement is unlocked when player gets 15 or more kills in one match.
'MP40 Expert' achievement is unlocked when player gets 22 or more kills in one match using the MP40.
'Observer' achievement is unlocked when player gets less than 3 kills in a single match.
You get the idea...
Achievements are 100% customisable with names, descriptions, images and unlock requirements. No limit to the amount of achievements per game either
Stat tracking is also tallied up and kept as a total for all the times they've played your game, they are then also added to
online leaderboards.
All data such as leaderboard scores and stats will be accessible by the game developers using a special 'Read-Only' SQL Server connection, when dedicated databases are used. This allows the scores to be displayed where the game developer wants and in any format.
Also I have decided to provide a
much improved free version of FPSC IP that will allow multiple levels, stat tracking and a few more features for the people who can't buy it immediately or who can't buy it at all

(The joys of having unlimited servers, and no, I've not forgotten those with no money

)
Now I'm off for some much needed sleep
@Huncut1:
Quote: "How many mods can be used in the original FPS Creator at the same time?"
You can use one mod per game.
FPSC IP however is an exception as unless you use the FPSC IP menu bypassing mod, it doesn't require a source edit and can be applied to any FPSC X9 game.
Quote: "could you tell me what format type the sounds are in the FPSC? "
Sound format is '.wav' and '.ogg' I think.
Quote: "Which FPS Creator do you offer for creating a multiplayer game?"
I'm obviously going to say X9 because I know what's in the new FPSC IP
Quote: "Is it a good decision?"
Aye
