I'm an artist working for someone writing in GDK. If i modeled something and unwrapped it. Will GDK automatically apply the texture according to the UV coordinates using texture object(sorry not programming literate) or should i try to export it myself?

Yes, DGDK will use your object's UV coords when applying a texture to it. You should be aware, though, that if your object has multiple UV layers for things such as lightmaps and what not you (or I guess your programmer) will need to use either a multi-texturing shader or possibly some form of the blend mapping function to get it texture correctly.
