Welcome to the forums!
I could be mistaken (I've not used T.Ed at all), but I belive that terrain editor was designed specifically for DBPro, and can't be used with DB Classic.
The clue is in the name -
Terrain Editor. DBPro has a variety of terrain commands which start by taking a bitmap image, looking at the colour of each pixel on it and then assigning that colour a height. Thus, a smooth 3d terran is generated.
It is possible to do something similar in DBC, but it might be rather tricky especially if you are a newcomer (as your forum join date implies). And I'm not sure you could actually get a T.Ed terrian running anyway.
For landscape generation, try downloading one of the free editors like MatEdit or MagicWorld in the
DBC program showcase area. (There are a couple of other level editors there, but I never really got the hand of how to work them).
Hope this helps!
