I have two, hopefully quick, questions.

1. Can you block the player from using "<" and ">" to screw with the ambiance in built games?

2. I know this question has been asked many times before, and is in the "community guide", but I can't seem to get the "ambiance trigger" zone to work with each individual level. It just doesnt do anything when the player is in it...

thanks.

This is what I do and it works for me. Let's say you set the ambiance to 10. Now set the red, blue and green to 20. This allows the <> keys to adjust the ambiance between 10 and 20. If you set the red, blue and green to 40, then <> will adjust between 10 and 40. If you set the ambiance to 10 and the red, blue and green to 10, then the <> keys adjust the ambiance between 10 and 10, or have no effect. You'll want to play around with the numbers to get it just right.

Best.

Oh. Thanks. Ive noticed most fpsc games still let the player do this, and it fun to mess it up a bit, but I would never sell a game with those keys active.

I would hate that.I even have to turn up the ambience when I test and run built games.I'd hate to think that it doesn't work for other FPSC games.

That IS a cool tip! That gives the player some gamma-like adjustment without having the ability to totally ruin the mood you've worked so hard for. Neat

I think that this needs to be in the next "Community Guide".

When I fool around whit the ambience ingame, is there a way to save that kind of ambience so that the next time I test the game the ambience is the same as I left it ?

What you see isn't always real....

If you press the "enter" key after typing in each value it should retain it. If you don't press enter after making a change, it will not be saved and will revert back to where it was.

Best.
