Hi, ive just had a go with vray, i just started messing around with it and i came up with this, a simple glass with reflection and refraction. Now bear in mind that this is my first ever attempt so go easy on me, but i would love some comments on how to improve, thanks

To be honest, I've never touched vray, so I can't give much C&C, other than. "wow, looks smexi =3"

EDIT: Damn, I gotta change my sig sometime XD

I tasted the rainbow once...it tastes like leprechauns and £1 coins.

Very nice, looks similar to Blender type graphics...

Like a regular render?

The render looks pretty good, I don't like the checker texture on the ground though, don't see why you put it on there.

Well it's hardly realistic, but a good first try. I assume you looked up the IOR value for clear glass(~1.5)? Also, try tweaking the depth settings for transparency raytracing. You can't see the inside of the glasses. There should also be a transparent shadow, and if you're really an overachiever, some caustics.

Well I can't go very far in depth since I don't know how vRay works and what kind of features it has. If you find some tutorials online I'm sure they'll tell you everything you need to know.

That last one loooks pretty good, I'd personally say that the tops of the glasses are too flat, try bevelling them...
