No I dont think so yet, it just says download in your order history, it doesn't say download X10 version like the other X10 compatible MPs, well for MP20 anyway, i don know about #21

I just got 21... So far I have got all the model packs I needed to work working just fine in X10. I will test out mp21 and give the results as soon as I get my download. To be honest most model packs work fine for me. There are a couple of items in each model pack that will not work right but I have had tons of success with using the model packs for X10 and also items from the store.

I didn't make 20, just happens to be a very very very very very very nice coincidence that a medieval/fantasy style scenery pack has been released at the same time.

It's a nice pack, but those don't really look like midevil buildings that were commonly found, they look like buildings from old midevil Germany, you can tell by the architectural style. Just a thought.

I dunno, they pretty much look like all the medieval buildings I've seen and growing up I visited this museum every year when we were on holiday.

Now we need more of them. We need to expand. That should be the work of the artist, is to continue producing along the same line.

One of the biggest problems with these models packs, is that we get a certain style with a certain amount of something and then people move on to something else.

It limits our game style variety and makes it harder to create games that look different than each other.

Why am I saying this, I can't model and I pay for them. I just want more and I will continue to pay.

Can someone post a good quality screenshot of model pack 20? The blurryness in the photo is hard to make out the quality of the pack..

Would it be possible for The Game Creators to put up high quality screens of all individual characters/components from this pack?

...ditto.

I have no doubt that these are top quality packs, but it would be most appropriate, and helpful, if the potential buyer can know exactly what he/she would be purchasing...

We already know that Fletcher/Bond's packs are top quality, we've seen the threads, and the high-quality ingame images.

Only model pack 20 looks like one of those dodgy model packs that appears out of nowhere. We've had a lot of those, from arteria, and the majority of them are anything but quality.

I have tested out MP 21 in X10. While the characters show up just fine they have trouble moving. They slide back and forth... However they look very nice and work well in FPSC

I have also had some time to test the characters. They look nice but I get unplayable framerates at around 10-20 FPS with just one or two of these in a basic small level :-( My PC may not be brand new but it isn't bad either.

I wish FPSC X9 wasn't that bad at handling high poly characters. I should try this on my FPSC X10 rig since it runs faster.

Why hasn't he fixed his TGC Store ones, I was really bummed whe I found that his mech sat just underneath the floor, and nothing I could do would fix it...

Dose anybody own it yet? Do they look just like the pictures? Are they darker in FPSC? I don't want any bs like I got from that other medieval building pack by the same guy.

I have MP20 and the buildings look ok to me (the best part of the pack). But framerate quickly suffers if you want to build a small city. Also, the included characters aren't that great. Worst part is the small shop-stalls which do look great but absolutely kills the framerate if I walk up close to one of them (instant drop from 37 to below 10).

I'll ask him but the reason their like that is because he makes models for like 5 different engines so when he test them in one engine he might assume it's going to work in a different one.

Sorry Jon,

Either I found a bug in the mp21 pack or a bug in v114 because the waypoints don't work.

I tried changing the animate=2 to animate=92 in his script, but that didn't work either.

Check it out on the video....

Is this happening to anyone else or just me?

Was considering buying this pack but I'll wait to see if anyone else has the same problem as Conjured, by the way I noticed there was no sound. Do these models have sound?

Quote: "Do these models have sound?"

MP 21 character have sound.
The actually have voices in the audiobank title Creature_strong and Creature_weak.
So yes they have two voices comprising of 7 sounds each for a total of 14 sound files for the voices.
Although the spawn sounds are very familiar.

Hey Kenster, I tested the other characters and found out that the only ones glitchy are the mounted ones.
The other guys walk fine on their waypoints.
It's only the mounted characters that slide in their death animation's last frame. (even with the stock follow.fpi script)

EDIT

Quote: "Was considering buying this pack but I'll wait to see if anyone else has the same problem as Conjured,..."

I have a fix so order it.
I looked at the animations and the frame range for anim=2 is 266-303, but the character only has 266 frames of animations.
That is why it plays the last frame which is that death thing.

Change the following in the characters FPE file... (remember to delete your .bin and .dbo files if you have any to see the changes)

anim2 = 30,69

With those values you will get a result like in this video...

(or you could go 30,70 like his anim92 is defined)

Check your mounted characters' FPE files Jon, because I think you may have forgotten to edit the old values for the animations.
An easy enough mistake to make when in a hurry to release it, and even easier to fix.

I guess I should have looked into this before I posted the problem, then I could have emailed you.
Oh well, everyone who had already ordered would have needed the fix anyway, and now you know.
I'll email you next time, sorry.

Thanks for that conjured i'll take a look and change it, i will release a small fix later today or tommorow.

Which also includes the Imp with weapon showing up.

EDIT:

Will also include a minor content bonus if i can get it working. (this is NOT to say the pack is incomplete, im just seeing if i can put some extra animations to use.)

EDIT:

Ok, got everything done today, update will also include ranged (Bow and arrow) variations of the Orc, Goblin and Reptilian as bonus.

I will see if i can get TGC to put the fix available for download on the FPSC site.

To be honest, im not completely sure, see if you can decide from this quote

Quote: "OK I've asked Mike to update the pack. Anyone who has it already will be able to download a new version when it's ready."

(i havent exactly got it in order history or my download page so cant check)

By what i think it looks like, new customers will download it as a whole, including the bonus, as if it were all in there in the first place.

And same thing for existing customers, who, it would seem, just need to download the installer again when its updated.
