Hi all,

I'm struggling creating a simple 3D object that I would like to use with multitexturing and some shaders applied to it.

However I only managed to assign the model a regular texture. Whenever I try to multitexture it and assign a shader to it, the object remains untextured.

I have created the object (it is a company logo) by creating paths in photoshop (from an EPS), saved them as AI, imported the AI into Ultimate Unwrap3D Pro, set to Autosmooth faces for normalizing, and saved as DirectX .X format.

What do I have to look for to have the model correctly textured? Is there something special I have to take care of to correctly apply multistaged textures to the object?

Any help and pointings into the right direction are highly appreciated

Just an update to my question (if someone has the time an interest to give a quick shot at it ):

Using Unwrap3D I could save the model as DBO, where I do not have any problem using multitexturing (and then the mentioned shader(s)).

When I save in .X or .3DS I always get the problems mentioned in the previous post.

So basically my shout for help still roars around....
