The momentum I've taught is where (for example) you have:
Car 1: mass 1000kg, velocity 20 m/s
Car 2: mass 1200kg, velocity 0 m/s
Calculate the momentum of Car 1:
mom = mv
mom = 1200*20
mom = 24000kg m/s
Calculate the velocity of both the cars after they have an impact:
mom after = mom before = 24000kg m/s
vel = mom/mass
vel = 24000/(1000+1200)
vel = 10.9 m/s
So that's the only context I can see momentum being used in: for two objects colliding with each other (player colliding with buildings and pushing them) hence I said nudging buildings.
By momentum if you mean building up speed and keeping it, isn't that acceleration and deceleration?
I have two copies of JSRF, and I'm trying to base it more around the style of JSRF because I'm not too keen on the physics of the first game as it feels more stiff.
