Kaos Mansion is a fast-paced top-down 2D shooter.

It's barely worthy of a WIP post yet, but development is going extremely fast (started it yesterday!), so don't freak out.

I have movement, shooting and aiming pretty much done, as well as some nice in-code character management. I plan on adding dynamic lighting (yes, it's gonna be freakin' amazing!), multiplayer, a storyline, and around twenty 2048x2048 maps.

He's on post approval. It's a forum bug. The thread posts, but his post doesn't come in until it's approved by the mods

C'mon Oolite, been here since 2005, still don't know that yet?

Interesting, I didn't know that either. However, now the post is there, so.. it looks interesting (yes, interesting again!). Quite empty and such... and it's hard to get an idea of what the game(play) is about. Furthermore I'm wondering if you have a clear idea on how you want to realize the dynamic lighting, which seems to be not that easy to implement since DBP doesn't have such features for 2D (as far as I know? However, still there are pretty many possibilities to do that). I escpecially want to know how you are gonna implement the "storyline" due to me and a friend being still working on a story-driven topdown shooter.
