Hey, I've searched around but can't find an answer to my plea.

I slaved over a hot mouse to create an awesome character. He's rigged correctly, UV-ed correctly, textured correctly, yadda yadda. Point in case, he looks perfect in Milkshape and Fragmotion and even in the FPSC editor. But when I test play the game...he's invisible... Anything I did wrong?

Here's his specs:

textured = madness_classic_D2.dds
effect = effectbank\bumpbone\bumpbone.fx
castshadow = 0

Does it turn white or black if you remove the texture's path? like...

textured =

try changing his appear script from appear 1 to appear 2

this will cause the entity to fade in and should solve your problem.
