Very nice video. Have been waiting for this one for years! But I've got to ask, what the heck is a "subjective" shooter?

Simply Awesome

I love the things that are smashing together.

The title at the end is a little hard to read.

What program did you use for making this vid?

Wow! Amazing it is! I love the mood and it looks challenging too.

But I strongly disagree on the "casual" part. The game looks really hardcore infact: Sci-fi setting, darkness, things that kill you (and the player shooting maybe). These are all things that exclude the word "casual". Even your game title is considered rather hardcore in my humble opinion.

Casual games are the ones like Bejewelled and Peggle. Watch this trailer and see the difference for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsjsKsicCjY

Calling it a "subjective shooter" just sounds wierd btw. First Person Shooter is the standard term and I don't think you will fool anyone into believing your game is anything else.

I suggest that you consider if you really want to target a casual market that primarily play games in a completely other style and the primary game buyer is a woman in her mid-forties who never played a FPS in her life before. Is a game portal like this really where you are heading?

I think you might have a hit game but you are marketing it wrong.

And please, don't take this as a negative load of bull.... that I'm writing. I really hope you succeed and having worked as a level designer and tester on loads of commercial mobilephone games I have some experience with the casual genre.

Seth - I fully understand what the word means, but tell me which of those 6 points can possibly relate to an FPS? The game sure as hell doesn't exist only in my mind

By normal game standards, I'd rate the trailer: 5/10
By FPSC game standards, I'd rate it: 10/10

Very well done for an FPSC game. Great work!

Perhaps have some more action in the video. All I saw was you shooting a robot and throwing a box at a window. Also, the trailer doesn't give any sort of sense of what the story is about.

Well it could be a 'puzzle gameplay' trailer. And it was simply insane. But I agree with Ply, you do need a story one. The game looks awesome...

He said that he wasn't using any mods in his WIP thread, did it ever come to mind that he just has a good computer? I myself have never experienced a frame drop in fpsc since I got my new computer.

The trailer wasn't all that great, the credits felt longer than the game play which always bugs me. Having seen your work in progress threads and the old trailers I have high hopes for this.

I think the "subjective shooter" is a translation error.

Thanks for all your comments.

Yes,the phrase "subjective shooter"has been a mistake to be remedied in future videos. We haven´t used any kind of modification (for now... We need one for a multiplayer game, Brickzone.)

This week we will create a channel on youtube and we will release a new video of E.L.E and Defender the Castle. This new channel will be updated weekly with new videos, thanks.

This week videos:
E.L.E / first five minutes of gameplay.
Defender the Castle / Gameplay video.

Coming soon:
E.L.E / Twenty ways to kill a zombie .
Brickzone / Scenarios desing.

Thaks.

Wow, a very tough crowd here.

I think it's encouraging to see someone coming close to completion and release. The segment design and textures were excellent.
