Is there any way to change the hands on model pack 6 to the bonus ones that come with model pack 9 and 10?

EDIT

In other words, apply texture from model pack 9 and 10.

Something about non-constructive posts rings a bell.....

Agreed

The textures can not be directly applied without heavy modification.

You would need to create new textures to match the UV coords. of the MP6 hands (which are quite different than the MP9/10 hands). You can do this with a lot of cut/paste/tweak photoshop work. The result will be something that looks similar but not identical. I suppose it also depends a bit on which texture variation you are attempting to use.

Plus, it'd look bad, because the hand meshes are completely different.

OK then.... How about just retexturing them to something else (not from MP9 or 10)?

...if you're up to it, anything is possible, man.

Here, literally 7 seconds in GIMP gives you a crappy, yet appealing re-texture. I can't release it 'cause I really didn't do anything to it, but just an example.

Hey that retexture doesn't look all that bad! I just need something with gloves. Any chance you know any tutorials?

Yes:

1-Select the region you want to glove
2-Go into Filters>Artistic>Clothify
3-Apply cloth effect
4-Save, replace, test, enjoy

That is, if you're using the GIMP 2.4.

Shouldn't conflict, so long as you have the lasso tool and clothify tool.

The hand_d2.dds file inside of the gun folder.

Oh, you'll need a GIMP .dds plugin to view .dds files.

Yes ND, I've read it. But all he asked was 'Is it possible?', and knowing that it is, I said yes. I meant no disrespect, if he had have asked for a better explanation I would have given one.

Ok. I can see your point, and it would have been ok to say that but you could have at least said a little more
