get to your programming, creators i have now created this new type of competition which is a mini game creation with a certain theme (i only do this when the game creators official team has not yet organised one )
well for those intereted the first theme is sports
which means you will have to create a mini sports game of any type
with theese restrictions:
-players must be animals
-there must be a pre game menu
-sports means only menplayed sports no vehicle sports like a rally
and theese reccomandations:
-there can be no rules
-your players can have powers
-do your best
to fill in just post a thread with the game you think you'll make and a last restriction if a sport is already been created don't make the same
1st price medieval 2
2nd price a gba emulator with games and 300
3rd price a torrent
4th price wild metal country
5th A LINK TO ONE OF THE MOST powerful modellers
good luck-----------bonne chance

Isn't Blender free?

It sounds like an okay competition idea but you need to do two things:
1.) Run your post through a spelling and grammar check!
2.) Don't impose such strange and restricting rules on the games. (i.e. players must be animals, there can't be any rules).

You can just paste it in MS Word and press F7 to let it correct any spelling and grammar mistakes. This will also help remind you to captialize properly, which is the main problem with your post. People have a hard time taking a post seriously when it has no capitals in it.

They do take it seriously when you have some formatting, like this:

Get to your programming, Creators! I have now created this new type of competition. This is a mini Game Creation Contest with a certain theme (I will only do this when The Game Creators Official Team has not yet organised one).

The Contest
For those interested, the first theme is sports.
This means you will have to create a mini sports game of any type
with these restrictions:
-Players must be animals
-There must be a pre-game menu
-Sports means only "man-played" sports. No vehicle sports like a rally.

And these recomendations:
-There can be no rules
-Your players can have powers
-Do your best

To enter just post a thread with the game you think you'll make.

Note: One last restriction: if a sport has already been created don't copy it!

1st prize - Medieval 2
2nd prize - A GBA emulator with games and 300
3rd prize - A torrent
4th prize - Wild metal country
5th prize - two paint like programs

Good luck-----------Bonne chance

I think Quirkyjim was being sarcastic.

medieval 2 is horrible, gba emulators... im not sure but you could probably get one for free with enough looking around, i haven't seen a torrent which costs a penny, wild metal country has been free since 1999, and im sorry to tell you that URL adresses have no monetary value whatsoever.

So thats only one item thats actually worth something...

I laughed when i read this...
Seriously
Quote: "1st price medieval 2
2nd price a gba emulator with games and 300
3rd price a torrent
4th price wild metal country
5th A LINK TO ONE OF THE MOST powerful modellers"

So, first place gets a game thats nearly two years old
Second place gets a highly illegal emulator and games.
Third place just gets a torrent, nuff said.
Fourth place gets wild metal country, which just happens to be a free downloadable game.
Fifth place gets a link to Blender...
Woops, i just gave away a prize...

and that wasn't sarcastic or unconstructive at all was it smart guy.

I'm being ironic obviously

But to be constructive...
A: this competition is very restrictive; make a sports game with animals as players without any rules? A very odd request.
B: Like someone earlier pointed out at least one of the prizes are illegal.

I think we should just put this down as a bad example of a competition. Sorry RYD.

Bumping month-old threads just to say something that has already been said almost word-for-word?

"

Please don't.
