Does anyone know working method to "bake" animation for export? I can now export .x files that contain only movement rotation and position changes, not modifiers(e.g. bend objects)
I use 2009 Design. I have tried exporting with panda and also .3ds to .x. There should be way to collapse modifiers to mesh and then export it, because when using convert to poly or mesh or whatever it will remove transformations. Same happens when exporting.

yes there is, in max you simply right click and flatten all modifiers into mesh

try google if you cant figure it out
