Nice. Quite complex boss behaviour, which is cool. I failed. I'll have another go later.

I got 2344. Think i completed it. Initially i thought the "debris" coming off the boss was bullets.

Nah, that be kind of cruel if he shot at you every time you hit him

I might go back to this on a later date and add some more to it...or maybe not. This was really a distraction from my main project.

Ah, and if anyone is curious, the kanji translates:

Death!
...murder!?
SPACE REVENGE! (<---name of the game)

MR.Tank:
BTW! Your Asteroids game is just awesome. I'm curious as to how you implemented the gravity? Also, could that method be used on an inverse scaled sphere as well?? I had an idea based off your game.

Thanks dude. Sure you could have an inside out sphere too. I'm using the "freeflight" commands - roll, pitch etc. Basically the objects are all positioned at the centre of the planet, but limb zero, where the visible part is, is offset upwards. All movement takes place by rotating. I could show you the code if you like. So, what's the idea?

Kohaku:
Heh!

Mr Tank:
That's what I was thinking at first, but then I remembered seeing something similar but on any type of object with any angles. I thought you created a system that allowed you to follow any model surface like in the new Mario Wii game...maybe that wasn't you.

Anyway, the basic idea is you fight inside a world that's inside-out. Inverted world that surrounds a inverse-gravitational point in space. Ever seen that TNG episode with Scotty and that humongous sphere planet? Same principle, but a little smaller.

Alright, updated the game a bit. New boss weapon graphic, and it's more '3d' now

Sweet. I got 5128 points. Would be cooler if you could see how much energy you had left. The boss missiles being larger than the small spaceships is a little odd, but you get used to it.

Mr. Tank:
Agreed on the crazy sized missiles...didn't mean for them to be so big Which energy are you talking about? The boss life? Or something else? I hope you got that once the bottom graphic if fully visible the boss spawns.

Looks like I'm going back to this and updating it some more I'm getting frustrated with my main project, lol.
