Can you tell me if I want to stop a objects loop when the upkey is pressed what code would i use,i tried using (loop end object 1)and(stop loop object 1)but it wont run.

stop object objID.

Thanks,but it does not reset the animation,sorry i forgot to mention this as well,I want the animation to reset to frame 1 after up key is pressed.I tried stop object 1 with anim frames but it wont run.

Ok, then you would use set object frame objID, 0 after the stop object call.
