It has become quite apparent to me that Dark GDK and Dark GDK.NET are 2 quite distinct animals. Both in terms of plugins and development(DBP version).

I hereby request from the mods that GDK.NET gets it's own board.

APEXnow has created a beautiful add-in to Visual Studio and I fully believe it will create a massive community of it's own. If not, at least we will have our own corner to skulk in.

So please, oh great and powerful Dark mods, make us our own space so we can revel in our new found community or at least whine on our own board.

Besides that, Dark GDK and Dark GDK.NET have very different issues to deal with, if we could make this clear to new users then perhaps they will be more satisfied with what they have. I'm sure we have a lot to share, but also have many differences. It would be great to make a clear distinction between us.

All those in favour say "AYE". (All 3 of us GDK.NET Users)

NB: (actually please say more than "AYE" as this is a perfect way to get a post locked unless it is substantiated by relevant thoughts and feelings.)

EDIT: Please note all edits to this post are to correct spelling and grammer in my otherwise emotive "Che Guevara-esque" rant! (wipes rabid foam from mouth)

AYE...

This has been discussed a lot by me and APEX before this version was released. We're still waiting to have our own board.

AYE

I think this is a good idea, so that DarkGDK.NET and DarkGDK users will have 'cleaner' forums

Yay, Fantastic!

And that was only a little noise we made! Thank you kindly Mike for your rapid response. Viva la revolution!
