Create any piece of Dark Basic Pro game ready Residential architecture. Any structure that someone could live in. Can be from the past, the present, or the future, use your imagination!

Even a hobo-box?

I think I'll dust my modeling skills off and give this a go. It's great that these competitions kept on going, even after..bleh...

Ahh therin lies the problem, in the way you have presented the compettion, you have inentvertantly narrowed the field of particpants, you requested that models should be Dark basic pro ready, most people do not know how to load thier models into that program...

It might be easyier to say a polygon limit, that the engine could handle, i myself have no personal experience but i would guess it to be 2000 maximum?

Althougth the wording has greatly increased the chances of others joining, considering that the model request is quite vauge and can cover a comprehensible list of oppertunities, i would recommend changing it so it can be easyly accomplished.

I think I will try this one.

Can we use third party reference? Or does it have to be ENTIRELY our own work?

I'll have to use Truespace for the first time.

DBPRO ready probably just means: poly-model / UV'd / texture map.
Not that limiting, considering DBP can handle a lot.

Hmm..now that I think about it, how about a futuristic hobo-box?

Yes, let me clarify DBP ready means it would be a model acceptable to be in a DBP program. That means nothing ridiculous, like a 100,000 polygon sample. The idea is to encourage users to make some models and share them. This competition is only a week, as I did not want to keep people waiting so I just kick started things with something very simple.

Cool, i am actually working on a scifi space-station on mars, sort of like Doom3

Here is some images:

I tried it out in leadwerks and it works perfect.
When finished i will separate the mesh into several parts to increase fps.

People will be able to live here, but i dont think i would want to

Poly Count: 2617

Btw, will it be allowed to implement it into leadwerks instead of dbp?
