First off, this isn't a rendering problem. Second, Telling us you downloaded it doesn't make me want to help you. Prove you didn't pirate it and you might get a little help, if you pirated it you don't deserve any help whatsoever.

You can't get a demo for version 9, that was two versions ago.

Everyone quit pestering that he's a pirate... It's his own buissnes IMO if he's a pirate or not, and if he is then he's not allowed to profit from what he makes with it... Some people download shizzle because their aint a download for it... It's stupid really, games that look good, often don't have a demo, and they then go and DL it off a pirate site to try it before leggaly paying for it... It's just a common thing with people.

Anyway, have you...
1. Updated your video card drivers?
2. Tried a re-install.

I honestly agree Makuta, i find it offen offending that companes want you to trust them on a whim that you will be able to settle or attenutae with thier interfaces, scales and work flows.

Although some people i know just do it out of spite, take Mass effect for example it could only be installed on 3 machines total, for an extended licencse you would need to phone up a call centre and rack up a phone bill larger than the actual game.

I do not insist nore condone the actions of others, its not my place to judge neither is it of people on this forum.

I can honestly say this clean cut with no bias nore regret...

A lot of people murders as well, just to be fair. And I wouldn't say it's too off topic, what would you expect when you admitted to have pirated something (Which most users of this forum is against)?
I'm not for neither against pirating, people can do what they want, let them deal with it.

Well...pirated = stolen = illegal?

Lazerus:
We're not talking about a 60 dollar game, but a $7k licensed product...big difference

Big diference same concept...

Not in many cases, those serious about thier efforts will buy thier programs that have been used, or stolen as you so elgantly put it.

The main problem is the misconceptions with piracy, people think that they want to gain, rob, steal, thier the men standing in the shadows, while with most they just want a hobby or know that they can use it before they pay £7000 for it..., i know quite a few companes that use this approach and when nesceary they bought the licence to publish, use and create works.

Yet how many can honestly say that they have never downloaded music, games, movies, to, how to put it, try before you buy?

Beacause i honestly know that in good will i can't, Although i would never openly admit to it...

I am however fully against those who give nothing in return, few people i have met have made vast improvements to a program after it leaked on the net,

If good and evil are black and white piracy would be grey,
I see no reason to discuss in good season,
And argue syamtics all day...

What on earth happened on thursday?
I am more clear, focused, contempt...

who new ehh?

Makes you wonder actually how certain 'copy's' of programs are distributed...I mean, if I just spent $7k on a licensed program, last thing I would do is hack the codez and release it for peps to download. Something tells me it's an inside job...and to think of it, this means that their company has really bad security measures, or these 'copy's' are released on purpose to build hype or to showoff their product to potential buyers before they commit.

So, your reasoning makes sense. Though being a ninja, I can't justify a pirate's actions.

Which is why you download the trial version. There is no reason to pirate any software for the reasons you state when they clearly offer a 30-day trial. People who say otherwise are weakly trying to justify larceny. Would you walk out of a store with something that cost $7000 just because you promised to pay sometime later? Piracy is stealing, no matter the "good" intentions of the thief.
