If you are using MatEdit with DBPro, and have applied the new U5 patch, then the changes made to DBP will mean that the MatEdit Pro #include file will not work.

The new version is now available from the downloads section at http://www.matedit.com.

It also includes a DBP demo called ProTest which finally has PROPER seamless textures!

On the down side, it's temporarily 'bodged' to take into account the fact that Get Ground Height in DBP U5 now works back to bloody front!

Ok thanks, some how I missed that info on there website. It sounds like that DBPro still has a lot of issue with Matrixs since he is still programming in DB for his next program MatEdit Pro.

Yes, but DBP is definitely getting there - albeit slowly!...

the loadMatrix.dba need to be modified by users.

For example Matnum is a useless parameter for now, 'cause the matrix is memorized on 1.
Also the images are memorized on number 1.

I have a little idea of creating an include file wich find the first number free for creating an object. I hope it can be helpful.

Monster=getFreeSlot("type")

where type=object,sound,music,matrix,terrain or any other numerable type.

with this you can make anything only with the reference:

make object cube Monster,10

or

load object "monster.x",Monster

Can this simplify the workaround on include files ???
