How? Well. The armor parts like his shoulder pads, the little clothe and his sort of gas-tank on his back.
Are not welded to the body itself! So with an simple alpha map on those certain parts will make this a whole different model."

True, but alpha mapping would kind of be bad for the poly count, it would make more sense just to delete segment and save it as a different model, so when you apply the same texture it just saves time (simple deleting, and using the same textures) and polies, otherwise great work! Its a really good model.

i agree SJH, but by the same token having different models rather than different textures would jack up the data size

so the choice is basically larger data size or slower games

The problem is....Butters is rigging/animating it.
I just modeled it, so or i could send him maybe like 5 models or just 1.
Its very nice that he rigs/animates it and when he is done, it will be posted for free.

The neck on the second soldier is bothering me a bit. Are you going to fix it or leave it like that.

Does that mean you didn't texture it either? I mean the texturing is pretty good on that model, but then again so is the modeling.

Yeah sorry SJH I modeled and textured it.

Butters is rigging it with his own custom animations.

Hopefully it will be ready soon.

And fallenangel, no i wont be redoing it. Sorry, so it will stay the way it is.
