My second human model ever, probably gonna finish this one some time.

251 polys only so far, its supposed to be that low poly

I used an old ref image of a soldier holding a gun.




Tell me what you think, and what i can do to improve the mesh.

Can we see a wireframe?
And! You could make the arms a bit thicker.
Also the chest a bit bigger.

Make the right hand a stomp. (like in the old times. Where they hold their guns.)
And the left hand a bit bigger.

The Hat make it part of his head.
So those are the parts where the polycount would be reduced even more.

And! Here is a pic. Just some sketches etc...i know, i know. Its a bit messy. But maybe it would help you.

Definitely a much better job than I could've done. I do, however, agree with Cheese Cake. Your soldier needs to be beefed up a bit. I hope you'll share your progress with us as you go.
