You know how you got the avatar, and don't forget the title as well.
You're not a "user" anymore. lol

Congrats Bond, you deserve it for sure.

After a long discussion, some arm wrestling... and a few blackmail pictures it was decided that we should acknowledge bonds contribution not only for the amazing models but to the forum as a long standing and genuine helper.

So yeah, Eat it, nerds!

Oh so THAT'S why. I just figured it was somehow due to my exceptional physical attractiveness.

That's cool you guys. What a nice gesture!

For this big event I really have to take a break from the Quake developers forum and congratulate Bond1! I think We all will remember this day as a big one.. Bond1 sadly didnt have time to answer the Presidents call to congratulate Him, but as We all know Bond1 is an important Person now.. And thats why a true rebel like Me shourldnt listen to Him at all from now on! (JK)
Why is it always the newbies that gets all the attention???

No, serious congrats from Mr Love

Valued yes. As for the important part, I think you may be blowing your own little horn. ( I reference the little horn in the Valued Member Icon... nothing else )

Congrats and thanks for all you do. Your attitude has certainly made this a better place.

Best.

Valued Member - Yes. Important Person - Unfortunately not. That's a different category altogether and one day we'll work out what to use it for.

So Bond is the only one who got this? I think some other people deserve this too, Butters would be first on my list. Congratulations Bond.

...and on the seventh day, Pus rested.

It was definately the next generation custom shader that won this award. A graphical milestone for FPSC characters made open source upon release combined with the fact bond1 is now a bonified PS3 developer.

Oh its Friday 13th. Exactly 1 month today until you get to complete Resident Evil 5 bond1. A just reward.

I'll close by mentioning that next generation custom developer edition shader one more time.

I paid, what, £12 for 5 Egyptian characters each with 5 textures.
A total of 25 characters!
Unbelievable modelling and animation quality.

I quickly bought 2 other packs, before the man's sanity returned!

Bond1, keep it up, and thanks, you deserve this.

LOL @ Bond

Maybe they will make some other emblems like a Cog or Tools or something for the best Modders, and a Star or something for the best Scripters.
I only say best as in the Best of the Best badges for Showcased Games.
Then you will be one of the only ones with the Valued Member Horn, even though the others get recognition.

Somebody like Plystire should get a Horn too though, since he would need a Cog and a Star.

I just wish I could get a title other than "user".

Congrats Mark, you defiantly deserve it! Oh and I bought this new little plug-in modifier for 3DS max called Lipservice (AKA LBrush) and it lets you sculpt detail like Mudbox and Zbrush right inside of Max and it also can be used for character lip-sync also, its works pretty good and its only $100 buck just thought I’d let you know about it. I've been playing around with it on some of my older models and the results have been pretty good.

Wow Chupa, thanks for the tip! And it's made by Joe Alter, the Shave and Haircut guy, so I'm inclined to think this is the real deal, I must try this! Seems like it would be a great complement to the Polyboost tools that I use all the time.

He saw a new icon and rank next to his name, so he decided to ask about it. You can't just go through life on assumptions. It's placed well too considering he got the icon due to his valuedness around the fpsc community.
