Hi there TGC community
Can anyone out there help me, please?
I need to get a standalone .exe file created in 3DGM to work in Vista.
Just a short history to what i have done...
I have used the updates to get 3DGM to work as a 'development' software tool in Vista. It works 100% fine. All of the test games work (from within the 3DGM), but when i save as a standalone .exe file (which it does ok) - i navigate to the directory and double click the .exe to play 'my' game.
Here (when using Vista) it bugs out (some of you might have seen my thread on the bug report forum) with RUNTIME ERROR 136 (and i also get runtime error 9 after a while too).
I've tried right clicking as running as administrator - and that doesn't work, i've copied the .exe to another part of my machine and double clicking and that does the same thing too.
If you have this software - can i ask anyone out there if they can get it to run a standalone exe file under Vista.
Sadly the support team at TGC have been unable to help here (yet).
I know 3DGM is loathed amongst the TGC forum community, so please bear with this plea for help.
Many thanks
- Vista!
