well i have photo shop cs3 and i was wondering how to make the boxes transparent because when i play i get this big ugly box in the hud

or solid white?

transparency background or Alpha chanel (black=transparency and white=not transparency)
and,you export 8.8.8.8 RGB DDS

Transparency? Well to make the object transparent, instead of the texture, you could modify the transparency. Works for me.

i only use transparency for effect.
other than that it doesn't matter for exporting
